With Epixx Studios, we haven’t just founded a studio—we’ve created a space where music can breathe and grow. We made a conscious decision against sterile perfection and chose a path that unites the soul of the past with the possibilities of the future. It is a journey toward a new sound.
The Origin: A Heartbeat from the Amiga
It all begins with a return. We step back from the noise of the present, into the raw, unadulterated energy of the dawn of the digital age. We lay our foundation where it all started: on the Commodore Amiga, in the legendary Protracker.
We don’t use this technology out of nostalgia, but because it possesses something modern systems often lack: Life. We celebrate the perfect imperfection. To us, it isn’t a weakness, but pure character. This is where our basslines and the rhythmic soul are born—with their own organic pulse. It is this almost human charm of the vintage tech that breathes the first breath into our new songs.
The Unfolding: Expanse, Depth, and Space
With this living, pulsating core, we switch worlds. In the modern environment of the Mac and in FL Studio, the sound is finally allowed to unfold. We take the original, raw framework and gently embed it into new, vast soundscapes.
Here, the music gains its volume. We envelop the raw Amiga charm in warm textures and give the song the depth it needs to truly resonate. Our highest priority is clear: never to paint over the original character, but to gently carry it and make it shine through modern technology.
The Completion: Voice, Atmosphere, and the Sara Noxx sound
The final, most subtle step takes place in Cubase. Here, everything comes together into a greater whole. This is the space for the magic of detail—and above all, for Sara’s voice.
Sara weaves her lyrics deep into the electronic tapestry, while we enrich the arrangement with hand-picked samples. These add targeted atmospheric accents: sometimes as a quiet, mysterious background noise, sometimes as a melodic fragment entering into a dialogue with the vocals. Together with the final effects, a dense atmosphere emerges where technology and pure emotion melt into one.

Mit den Epixx Studios haben wir nicht einfach nur ein Studio gegründet – wir haben einen Raum geschaffen, in dem Musik atmen und wachsen darf. Wir haben uns bewusst gegen die sterile Perfektion entschieden und für einen Weg, der die Seele der Vergangenheit mit den Möglichkeiten der Zukunft vereint. Es ist eine Reise zu einem neuen Klang.
Der Ursprung: Ein Herzschlag aus dem Amiga
Alles beginnt mit einer Rückkehr. Wir treten aus dem Lärm der Gegenwart einen Schritt zurück, hinein in die unverfälschte Energie der Anfänge des digitalen Zeitalters. Unser Fundament legen wir dort, wo alles begann: auf dem Commodore Amiga, im legendären Protracker.
Wir nutzen diese Technik nicht aus Nostalgie, sondern weil sie etwas besitzt, das modernen Systemen oft fehlt: Leben. Wir zelebrieren die perfekte Unvollkommenheit. Sie ist für uns keine Schwäche, sondern purer Charakter. Hier entstehen unsere Basslines und die rhythmische Seele – mit einem eigenen, organischen Puls. Dieser fast menschliche Charme der alten Technik ist es, der unseren neuen Songs ihren ersten Atem einhaucht.
Die Entfaltung: Weite, Tiefe und Raum
Mit diesem lebendigen, pochenden Kern wechseln wir die Welten. In der modernen Umgebung des Mac und in FL Studio darf der Klang sich endlich entfalten. Wir nehmen das ursprüngliche, rohe Gerüst und betten es sanft in neue, weite Klanglandschaften ein.
Hier bekommt die Musik ihr Volumen. Wir umhüllen den rauen Amiga-Charme mit warmen Flächen und geben dem Song die Tiefe, die er braucht, um wirklich zu wirken. Dabei ist unser oberstes Gebot: Den ursprünglichen Charakter niemals zu übermalen, sondern ihn durch moderne Technik sanft zu tragen und zum Strahlen zu bringen.
Die Vollendung: Stimme, Atmosphäre und der Sara Noxx Sound
Der letzte, Schritt findet in Cubase statt. Hier fügt sich alles zu einem großen Ganzen. Dies ist der Raum für die Magie des Details – und vor allem für Saras Stimme.
Sara webt ihre Lyrik tief in den elektronischen Teppich ein, während wir das Arrangement mit handverlesenen Samples anreichern. Diese setzen gezielte atmosphärische Akzente: mal als leises, geheimnisvolles Hintergrundrauschen, mal als melodisches Fragment, das mit dem Gesang in einen Dialog tritt. Zusammen mit den finalen Effekten entsteht so eine dichte Stimmung, in der Technik und pure Emotion miteinander verschmelzen.
